Cooper Creek Cedar Ltd. is the woodlands department for Porcupine Wood Products. Cooper Creek manages two volume-based forest licenses located in the Selkirk Forest District with a total AAC of 70 000 m3. The forest license tenure commences at the eastern extent of Kootenay Lakes West Arm and extends northward in fragmented parcels into the upper reaches of the Duncan River drainage.
Cooper Creek Cedar as an organization is committed to sustainable forestry practices, the preservation of ecological process and integrity and maintaining a strong social license through collaboration with local communities within the Regional District of Central Kootenay.
